It is with pleasure that we present another article from contributing author, Henry Makow. Ongoing developments in the federation of world religions under a revived Holy Roman Empire feature in our current news and in one of the links in friend Henry's article. Developments in Rome, Israel, the Middle East, Russia and China are moving the actors of Daniel 11, Ezekiel 38 and 39, and Revelation 7 – 19 into their positions. In this regard, Newsletter #545 noted, "At the end of the Gentile dispensation Russia and her Muslim allies will attack Israel, living in overconfident careless security. Sheba (Yemen) and Dedan (United Arab Emirates), and the merchants of Tarshish (a colony of Tyre in southern Spain), though not taking an active part against Israel, are well pleased to see others do it, and ready to deal in the ill-gotten spoil of the invaders. Gain is before godliness with these mercantile peoples, and as a secondary thought Russia will purpose to lay claim to the mineral riches of the Dead Sea." Are Britain, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, etc., the "young lions," offspring, or colonies of Tarshish prophesied in Ezekiel 38:13? Along with the UN they appear weary of 60 years of chutzpah; Israel is Rothschild's fiefdom, another colony of the 'City of London' whose future they have planned. Will they lift their hand and allow Russia and her Islamic neighbours to discipline this loose cannon? One of the titles of Spanish king, Don Juan Carlos, a frequent traveler to the Middle East, is King of Jerusalem; hereby he is king not only of the Israelis but also of the Palestinians.

Benedict XVI visits Lutheran Church in Rome
March 14, 2010 — On Sunday, Pope Benedict XVI visited a Lutheran church in Rome with the purpose of promoting unity by emphasizing the ways in which Catholics and other Christians bear common witness to Christ. In the German-language service, in which both the Pope and a Lutheran pastor gave homilies, the Pontiff affirmed, "We hear many laments about the fact that there are no new developments in ecumenism, but we must say, and we can say it with much gratitude, that there have already been elements of unity". . . Jakob Fugger and the Reformation
Jakob Fugger played important roles in the unfolding of the protestant reformation. It turns out that in the year 1500 the city of Rome and its Holy Places were in disrepair. . . the Papacy that was highly dependent on Pilgrims expenditures and donations for support. . . in modern terms . . . religious tourism.
Pope Leo X (born Giovanni de' Medici, the second son of Lorenzo the Magnificent, ruler of the Florentine republic) decided to renovate the old religious sites. This included building the modern St. Peter's Cathedral, the Sistine Chapel and related buildings as well as the plaza in front of the Cathedral. To do this took skilled artists like Michelangelo and lots of money. . . Jakob Fugger financed the building of what we know of as Vatican City . . . the beginning of a major financial crisis for the Catholic Church.
Leo sold high church office to Princes who could pay the necessary money (between 1495 and 1520, 88 of 110 bishoprics in Germany, Hungary, Poland and Scandinavia were appointed by Rome on the basis of Fugger money transfers). And allowed the sale of indulgences not only for past sins as had been customary in the past but for future sins (so you could guarantee in advance that your planned affair would not lead to a painful afterlife). Dominican Friar Tetzel was the best known of the indulgence sellers. The Friar's most famous jingle was "As soon as the coin in the coffer rings, a soul from Purgatory upward springs."
Around 1520 there were many people both inside and outside the church concerned about financial and moral corruption of the church and her clergy. . . Cardinal Cajetan told Luther to recant his many statements at odds with the Papacy's positions. It was a Jakob Fugger's house where Luther refused to recant. . . Baku will host the Next Summit of Religious Leaders
March 15, 2010 — Baku will host the summit of world religious leaders from April 27-29, said Sheikh ul-Islam Haji Allah-Sükür Pashazadeh, chairman of the Caucasus Muslims. "More than 150 religious leaders are expected to participate, including eleven patriarchs of the Orthodox Church along with representatives of all traditional world religions." The First Time I heard of Barack
November 11, 2008 — One evening, during a trip to Moscow early in 1992, as the evening wore on, the wife of my host said, "What if I told you that you will have a black president very soon and he will be a Communist? . . . This is not some idle talk. He is already born and he is educated and being groomed to be president right now. You will be impressed to know that he has gone to the best schools of Presidents. He is what you call "Ivy League." You don't believe me, but he is real and I even know his name. His name is Barack. His mother is white and American and his father is black from Africa. "It's all been thought out. His father is not an American black so he won't have that social slave stigma. Final Destination Iran?
March 14, 2010 — Hundreds of powerful US "bunker-buster" bombs are being shipped from California to the British island of Diego Garcia in the Indian Ocean in preparation for a possible attack on Iran. . . the US government signed a contract in January to transport 10 ammunition containers to the island. . .
Experts say that they are being put in place for an assault on Iran's controversial nuclear facilities. There has long been speculation that the US military is preparing for such an attack, should diplomacy fail to persuade Iran not to make nuclear weapons. . . The Sunday Herald reported in 2007 that stealth bomber hangers on the island were being equipped to take bunker-buster bombs. . . Superior Maritime Services, will be paid $699,500.00 to carry many thousands of military items from Concord, California, to Diego Garcia. Crucially, the cargo includes 195 smart, guided, Blu-110 bombs and 192 massive 2000lb Blu-117 bombs.
"They are gearing up totally for the destruction of Iran," said Dan Plesch, director of the Centre for International Studies and Diplomacy at the University of London, co-author of a recent study on US preparations for an attack on Iran. Comment: Interestingly, the very people the US is serving in this cowardly and treacherous premeditated slaughter will blast the United States from the face of the globe seven years after this latest US genocide.
Israeli Professor Martin Levi van Creveld has threatened, "We possess several hundred atomic warheads and rockets and can launch them at targets in all directions, perhaps even at Rome. Most European capitals are targets for our air force. Let me quote General Moshe Dayan: "Israel must be like a mad dog, too dangerous to bother." We have the capability to take the world down with us. And I can assure you that this will happen before Israel goes under." Golda Meir stated, "If ever Israel was in danger of being defeated on the battlefield, it would be prepared to take the region and even the whole world down with it".
Candid testimony to Israel's utter dearth of faith and dependence on self-works. With a death wish, the US overlooks the fact Israel has nuclear-armed submarines roaming the oceans able to destroy any US city.

Bursting the Malachi Martin Bubble

March 17, 2010 – Powerful forces have maintained the fiction that Malachi Martin left the Jesuit Order voluntarily or on principle. In fact, this prominent church critic was forced to leave the priesthood because he was a scoundrel and a philanderer.
By 1962, he had alienated the affections of at least four housewives and then dropped them.
When one spurned woman asked Martin's brother in Dublin where Malachi was, she was told:
"Dear girl. I don't know. I must tell you, you are the fourth woman who has come here asking me the same question about Malachi. All of them have essentially the same story to tell. That they were in love with Malachi and thought Malachi was in love with them."
"Four woman?" she demanded. "The same story?"
He nodded, and said, "And one rather attractive young man."
This account can be found in Robert Kaiser's book, "Clerical Error" (2002). The woman was his wife (p. 284-285).
Kaiser was the TIME magazine correspondent in Rome in the early 1960's. Martin was a source who became a close family friend. Martin didn't just break up Kaiser's family. (Kaiser and his wife Mary had two young children). It was much darker. To allay suspicions, Martin mobilized a network of influential contacts to smear Kaiser and have him committed as a paranoid schizophrenic.
Zionist Agent and Liar
Martin's books exposed satanic practices in the Catholic church, and the Pope's role in the New World Order. While pretending to be against world government and the decline of traditional faith and practice, Martin went a long way to discredit the church. His many books were published by Illuminati mind-controller Simon and Schuster, which was a sign that something was fishy.
Kaiser's book, on the other hand, is published by Continuum which bills itself as "unconstrained by the interests of any global media group or academic institution, and based in London and New York."
In it, Kaiser recalls that Martin started hanging out with two officials of the New York-based American Jewish Committee and flashing $100 bills. The Jews were particularly concerned that the 1962 Second Vatican Council pass "the Jewish Schema" which absolved Jews of blame for Christ's Crucifixion and by implication accept guilt for 2000 years of anti-Semitism.
This is a typical example of how Illuminati mind-controllers invert good and evil. The Crucifixion of Christ was part of an ancient conspiracy against God and man that is reaching fruition with the New World Order.
"Martin was their lobbyist." Kaiser wrote. "These Jews were using him and paying him well for his help (p. 190).
Martin was the secretary to Cardinal Augustin Bea, a Marrano who spearheaded the Schema and a general liberalization of church dogma and practice. And according to an article in Wikipedia, Martin passed confidential documents to the American Jewish Committee, which is a front for Illuminati bankers. He also wrote under pseudonyms many inflammatory articles for Illuminati magazines like Harper's describing the foot dragging of Vatican conservatives.
Martin had a reputation as a liar. Mark Owen cites psychiatrist Dr. Morgan Scott Peck's book "Glimpses of the Devil" about possession and exorcism. According to Peck, Martin, although a formidable scholar and polyglot (17 languages), could by turns be a "pathological liar" and a "leprechaun."
In an email, Owen told me that Peck said that in his book "Hostages to the Devil" Martin claimed he performed exorcisms that were actually performed by Peck.
Maturity
Bob Kaiser's book, "Clerical Error" is also about attaining maturity. Kaiser spent 10 years as a Jesuit himself. He makes the point that immaturity is really a function of having "idols" and taking guidance from "authorities" like the Jesuits or "experts."
Kaiser was fooled by Martin's collar and couldn't see what was happening in his own home. Then instead of taking action, he sought help from the Jesuit Order, who generally prevaricated. His so-called friends didn't alert him.
Kaiser learned that maturity is not so much gaining wisdom as confidence in one's own judgment, trusting oneself no matter one's limitations.
"Thou shalt have no other gods before Me" is really an order from God to all of us: to take charge of ourselves, think our own thoughts, and feel our own feelings. In other words, to "grow up" (p. 262).
For a lot of us, maturity has been realizing that no one knows very much, and there are a lot of unscrupulous, stupid and evil people in the world.
One of these was Malachi Martin. Just a month ago I posted an article about his claims of a "satanic enthronement in the Vatican." I had always regarded him as a good guy although I wondered about his Jewish publisher.
Now, I would avoid his work, because I regard him as a classic example of the Illuminati phony opposition. Martin pretended to oppose the dismantling of the Catholic Church while secretly advancing it. His personal behavior revealed where his true loyalties lay.

Toxic Water
February 23, 2010 — Residents in a Tasmanian plantation community are drinking water which kills human cells. The toxin in the water has been matched to the toxin in the leaves of a common and "genetically enhanced" strain of plantation tree, Eucalyptus Nitens . . . sold to plantation companies around Australia. Water from Tasmania's George River . . . has been found by six separate laboratories to kill human cells. . . A local GP had joined forces with a marine ecologist to help pay for research when she noticed a number of patients around the small community of St. Helens had "rare auto-immune diseases". . .
"Three-quarters of the forest plantation estate in Tasmania is planted in these trees . . . there's an export industry here to Chile and China and other states of Australia. "There are billions of dollars involved . . ." Tasmanian director of public health Dr. Roscoe Taylor . . . said a 2004 investigation had not confirmed "unusual rates of illness or cancers" in the area. Oyster farmers on the George River have complained of oyster deaths since 2004, when their entire harvest died.

March 18, 2010 – Newly discovered footage of a terrorist attack perpetrated by an Israel Defense Forces soldier in the Arab town of Shfaram five years ago indicates that authorities were aware of plans to commit the attack . . .
In August 2005, Eden Natan-Zada opened fire in a passenger bus in Shfaram with his army-issued M-16 assault rifle, killing four. Immediately following the attack, a large crowd gathered around the bus, surrounding the gunman and beating him to death. Last year, prosecutors charged 12 individuals with taking part in the lynching of Natan-Zada, a move that ignited criticism from the Israeli-Arab community. . . lawyer, Maher Talhami, said the cameras followed the trail of the bus in which Natan-Zada rode in entering Shfaram. Immediately after the attack, the footage shows angry mobs gathering at the scene. . . Talhami said the timing of the filming indicates defense officials knew of Natan-Zada's plan to perpetrate the attack. "We are talking about video shot by a drone," Talhami said. "Obviously not every private individual or civilian agent operates a drone on his own volition. Correspondent Barry Chamish wrote: "Back in '97, PM Netanyahu couldn't get his Hebron withdrawal past his cabinet. The next day, an IDF soldier, Noam Friedman, who had just spent 3 months in a psychiatric ward, took a bus to Hebron and shot up the Arab market in front of numerous television cameras which happened to be there as well. Due to international pressure, the withdrawal was passed by the cabinet that evening.
I also told my audience the outrage would come from Kach, since the Shabak runs the organization. It is no coincidence that a few days before, Kach members publicly staged a Pulsa Dinura, death curse ceremony against Ariel Sharon. That trick was played one month before Rabin's murder by Kach members led by one Avigdor Eskin. So, surprise, surprise, the Shabak aided by IDF intelligence pulled the old rabbit out of its hat just when they were supposed to. As usual, the patsy was Yemenite [or Sephardic, not an Ashkenazi "Jew"]. Here are the predictable details:

Jew Opens Fire in Bus, Kills Four Arabs
August 4, 2005 – Angry residents lynched the 19-year-old following the shooting. He was identified as Eden Natan Zada from Rishon L'tzion, a city south of Tel Aviv. Israeli media reported he recently moved to the Kfar Tapuach community in northeast Samaria after turning to religion and becoming involved in extreme political activism, but the administrator of the community said he never heard of the man.
The killer's parents, worried over their son's radical change, said they had asked the army to take away their son's weapon but were told by officers there was no need to do so. Israeli media tried to link the murder with anti-expulsion protests and pointed out the murderer had refused to take part in the planned expulsion. Former MK Rabbi Chanan Porat told questioning interviewers there is absolutely no connection to be made between the anti-expulsion protests and the murder.
The bus reached the town of Shfaram, which is made up of Christians and Moslems from Haifa, when Zada, dressed in a Border Police uniform, opened fire and killed the driver, another man and two girls. He continued to shoot at people inside and outside the bus as the bus continued to roll down the residential street. The bus came to a halt and at least one bus passenger managed to disarm the gunman. . . Zada was in an IDF unit other than the Border Police and it is not known how or why he obtained the Border Police uniform. MK Uri Ariel (National Union) said the IDF must investigate why the murderer had his weapon with him after having been AWOL for an extended period of time.
Prime Minister Ariel Sharon said, "This was a reprehensible act by a bloodthirsty Jewish terrorist who sought to attack innocent Israeli citizens. . . I send condolences to the families of those who were murdered and my best wishes for a quick recovery to those who were wounded. The entire State of Israel, regardless of race, religion or sex, strongly condemns this act of terrorism."
The Council of Jewish Communities in Judea and Samaria (Yesha Council) announced its shock, denouncing the murder as being committed by someone "crazy." Yesha spokesmen criticized "the cynical use of the incident by certain political entities to try to make a connection between the serious incident and the democratic, legitimate and nonviolent protest against the expulsion from Gush Katif being waged. "Repeatedly referring to him as 'a settler' even though he was not a resident of any settlement is an attempt to slander a whole population who is leading a democratic protest in an exemplary way. Correspondent Barry Chamish wrote: Once again, the sociopath Sharon had four Arabs killed and 16 others shot just to get his little Gaza withdrawal done. The shooter was another in a long line of Shabak patsies which includes Yigal Amir and Baruch Goldstein. As always, the "leaders" of the Right and the religious communities cower in shame over the incident. None dare actually blame the real perpetrators—the government of Israel and its internal security apparatus. . .

US tells Israel: 'You are undermining America, endangering Troops'
March 16, 2010 — The "Special Relationship" is DEAD. Learn some of the "WHY" being kept from you.
Vice President Joe Biden, Secretary of State Clinton and Joint Chief's Chairman Mike Mullen have all recently visited Israel on two issues, reliable information that Israel was planning an attack on Iran, a plan designed to push America into a war our leaders believe is both wrong and likely to risk a global nuclear confrontation with Russia and the building of a massive housing project on the Arab side of Jerusalem in violation of numerous agreements, a project that is likely to cause a spike in world terrorism and send thousands of new fighters to Afghanistan to face American forces there.
This is the worst point in the history of the relationship between the US and Israel since the founding of that nation in 1948 but these are not the only reasons, not these and the arrogant and intractable attitude of Israel's leaders nor being caught in lie after lie, lies told to their financial backer and closest ally, the United States. Here is some background on CENTOM Commander, General Petraeus' shocking briefing :
On Jan. 16, two days after a killer earthquake hit Haiti, a team of senior military officers from the USCentral Command (responsible for overseeing American security interests in the Middle East), arrived at the Pentagon to brief Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman Adm. Michael Mullen on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. The team had been dispatched by CENTCOM commander Gen. David Petraeus to underline his growing worries at the lack of progress in resolving the issue. The 33-slide, 45-minute PowerPoint briefing stunned Mullen. The briefers reported that there was a growing perception among Arab leaders that the US was incapable of standing up to Israel, that CENTCOM's mostly Arab constituency was losing faith in American promises, that Israeli intransigence on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict was jeopardizing US standing in the region, and that Mitchell himself was (as a senior Pentagon officer later bluntly described it) "too old, too slow . . . and too late."
The January Mullen briefing was unprecedented. No previous CENTCOM commander had ever expressed himself on what is essentially a political issue; which is why the briefers were careful to tell Mullen that their conclusions followed from a December 2009 tour of the region where, on Petraeus's instructions, they spoke to senior Arab leaders. "Everywhere they went, the message was pretty humbling," a Pentagon officer familiar with the briefing says. "America was not only viewed as weak, but its military posture in the region was eroding." But Petraeus wasn't finished: two days after the Mullen briefing, Petraeus sent a paper to [JCS Chairman Mullen—and not directly to] the White House requesting that the West Bank and Gaza (which, with Israel, is a part of the European Command—or EUCOM), be made a part of his area of operations. Petraeus's reason was straightforward: with US troops deployed in Iraq and Afghanistan, the US military had to be perceived by Arab leaders as engaged in the region's most troublesome conflict.
The Mullen briefing and Petraeus's request hit the White House like a bombshell. . . pressing Israel once again on the settlements issue, sending Mitchell on a visit to a number of Arab capitals and dispatching Mullen for a carefully arranged meeting with the chief of the Israeli General Staff, Lt. General Gabi Ashkenazi. . . Certainly, it was thought, Israel would get the message.
Israel didn't. When Vice President Joe Biden was embarrassed by an Israeli announcement that the Netanyahu government was building 1,600 new homes in East Jerusalem, the administration reacted. But no one was more outraged than Biden who, according to the Israeli daily Yedioth Ahronoth, engaged in a private, and angry, exchange with the Israeli Prime Minister: "This is starting to get dangerous for us," Biden reportedly told Netanyahu. "What you're doing here undermines the security of our troops who are fighting in Iraq, Afghanistan and Pakistan. That endangers us and it endangers regional peace." Yedioth Ahronoth went on to report: "The vice president told his Israeli hosts that since many people in the Muslim world perceived a connection between Israel's actions and US policy, any decision about construction that undermines Palestinian rights in East Jerusalem could have an impact on the personal safety of American troops fighting against Islamic terrorism." The message couldn't be plainer: Israel's intransigence could cost American lives. . .
The deterioration started long before this and can be tracked by changing perceptions in the Obama administration whose leaders are heavily "pro-Israel" but lack the extremist convictions of the Zionist/extremist group that surrounded President Bush. When Obama took office, even Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel, one of the most prominent Israeli proponents in the country, had become aware of the extent of Israeli involvement in areas that had taken the "special relationship" into an area of disaster for the United States. This is what was discovered:
The military and intelligence organizations in the United States had been penetrated by Israel, not only through our normal broad partnership but the planting of "moles," many from the Christian Zionist community who were taking direction from Israel and not the United States. The result wasn't just limited to falsification of intelligence, both leading to endless phony terror alerts and non-existent enemies but to skewing operations in a manner to guarantee their failure with significant American cost in both lives and money.
The massive spy network uncovered by Sibel Edmonds had been tracked, almost entirely to Israel. The Israeli attack on Gaza was timed to an American change of administration and done without consultation. Broad intelligence sources indicate that the attacks were not in retaliation to any terrorist activity but are spoken of "behind closed doors" by top US officials as ethnic cleansing not unlike the issues that brought NATO into conflict with Serbia. The systematic nature of the attack, destroying water-treatment, schools, hospitals, food storage, power generation and the massive loss of life, especially among children, has soured many in the Obama camp on Israel.
Israel's use of the Jewish lobby in the US to hold up President Obama's domestic agenda and their use of Jewish controlled media to embarrass the President has caused more bitterness. The Israeli agenda of working with India to destabilize Pakistan, organize terror attacks there and, less publicly known, in Afghanistan and Iraq, some against American targets, can no longer be ignored by the current administration, Secretary Gates, General's Mullen and Petraeus. Israeli's "dynamic duo," Senators McCain and Lieberman, though still holding important committee assignments on the hill, are being held increasingly in disrepute in the United States. When Israel sends these two on errands, it no longer carries the weight and power of the United States as it had during the Bush administration.
Re-examination of a number of terrorist attacks during the Bush administration, particularly in Europe, show a clear "Mossad footprint," something adding credence to the hypothesis that the "war on terror" and intelligence failures in Iraq had been heavily influenced by Israeli sources, many of the same individuals tied to the Edmonds spy affair, many close to, not only Israel but President Bush and Vice President Cheney. Recently a secret El Al/Israel flight from JFK in New York has been discovered, a flight authorized by top Bush officials, one previously kept secret and now being tied covering up 9/11 intelligence failures. The El Al Boeing 747 left only hours after the 9/11 attack, at a time all air traffic in the United States was grounded.
With nearly all Arab/Muslim governments aligned behind the US, including a softening of tensions with Iran, Israel feels it must act quickly. Signs, wonders and miracles were soon replaced by lectures and Gospel tracts; but the Church has passed through that era of intellectual half-Light that bound the Holy Spirit by denominationalism, and the evening Light has come to restore us back to the power of Pentecost for the manifestation of the Sons of God under the latter rain "Then the works that I do shall you do also" (John 14:12).
God is Alpha and Omega—the Word at the beginning and the Word at the end, but He is not the PART-Word that was in between, which was why the saints required a Mediator from Pentecost to the close of the Laodicean Church Age. Christ received the revelation of the Word for their day and excused their ignorance of that which was sealed, or lost through Roman Catholic pogrom and persecution, and baptized them into the Body.
Zechariah was referring to spiritual conditions at the end of the Laodicean Church Age when the people were "lukewarm and neither cold nor hot" concerning sanctified living and the strict Word and will of God, and under the delusion they 'have all of God' are in fact "wretched, and miserable, Spiritually bankrupt, blind to the faith, naked of the Blood, and know it not" (Revelation 3:16-20). Although Christ's end-time Bride has received "Light in the evening time" but this condition pervades the whole world and the elect Israelites will not recognize their "evening time Light" until they enter the second half of Daniel's Seventieth Week.
The same Light that shone in Jerusalem in the morning of the Gospel has been restored in the evening just before the Gentile dispensation ends and Tribulation darkness descends upon the Earth. Matthew 24:22-28, "The tribulation of the Gentile dispensation will be shortened for the elect by the restoring them to the apostolic faith and finishing the mystery of God to bring them into the unity of the faith for the manifestation of the Sons of God and their translation without death" (Malachi 4:5-6; Matthew 17:11; Revelation 10:7; Ephesians 4:13; Romans 8:19; I Corinthians 15:47-56; I Thessalonians 4:14-18;). "At that time if any one tells you, Christ has arrived at such and such a place, or has appeared here or there, believe them not. For false anointed ones and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to mislead, if it were possible, even the elect. Remember I have forewarned you. So if they say to you, He is in the desert; do not go out: or in the inner room; do not believe it. For as the lightning comes out of the east, and shines even to the west; so shall also the UNIVERSAL 'parousia' Coming of the Son of man be. For wherever the carcase of the fresh food for the hour is, there the saints will be gathered together".

So you see in the end-time, the former rain is restored to we Gentiles, and then to the Israelites.

We will comment briefly on Ezekiel 33-37 in order to lay a groundwork for the remainder of the Book where the prophecy of God's mercy to Israel begins with a renewed call to conversion, and with repeated earnest accusation of Israel (Ezekiel 33; 34; 36), so that His promises are accompanied by the assurance of judgment on the hostile world powers, and their downfall (Ezekiel 35; 38; 39) in contrast and as transition to the glorification of the Lord Jesus in His kingdom. Certainly these chapters were intended to encourage the Captives in Babylon with hope for their return to Judea, however their ultimate thrust and our interest concerns the prophetic events on the immediate horizon following the resurrection and translation of the Church.
As with Jeremiah 26 and Zechariah 6, we see Ezekiel in chapters 2 and 3 given a scroll "written within and without with lamentations, mourning and woe." The writing was almost certainly Israel's Seven Trumpet Judgments, not that their mystery was revealed to him any more than it was disclosed to Daniel, and as Christ's end-time Bride is made to eat the Book and become one with the revelation of the Seven Thunders, which are the revelations contained in the Seven Seals (Revelation 10:8-11), Ezekiel as God's watchman, is commanded to eat the Scroll and "Receive in your heart, and hear with your ears all My Words." In other words, He is to receive the Light of a clear revelation before delivering his Message. God makes him mute until He opens his mouth to warn the wicked to repent, then again the Lord makes him "dumb, so that he should not be a reprover: for they are a rebellious house" like the Gentiles in Revelation 22:10-19.
Up until chapter 25 Ezekiel prophesied judgment upon Jerusalem, God's Temple and the Judeans, but from chapter 25 to 32 he prophesies judgment upon Israel's enemies, Ammon, Moab, Edom, the Philistines, Tyrus, Sidon, and Egypt as a transition to the prophecies of Mercy upon Israel in Daniel's Seventieth Week. So you see, although seeing and declaring the revelation was "as sweet as honey," it was a hard Message to deliver.
In chapter 33:1-7 his commission as watchman is renewed, and turning from foreign nations to Israel he is told (like the angels to the Seven Church Ages) "Speak to the children of your people, and say, When I bring the sword upon a land, if the people of the land take a man of their coasts, and set him for their watchman: if when he sees the sword come upon the land, he blows the trumpet, and warns the people; then whosoever hears the sound of the trumpet, and takes not warning; if the sword come, and takes him away, his blood shall be upon his own head. He heard the sound of the trumpet, and took not warning; his blood shall be upon him (John 15:22). But he that took warning shall deliver his soul. But if the watchman see the sword coming, and does not blow the trumpet and the people are not warned; if the sword comes, and takes anyone, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at the watchman's hand".
The Lord revealed the capture of Jerusalem to Ezekiel and opened his mouth to prophesy the night before a refugee arrived with the news so that the mocking Judeans would recognize him as a vindicated prophet. As in Zechariah 11, Ezekiel 34 prophesies against the foolish shepherds, the rulers and kings of Israel, and promises the Shepherd of Mercy, David's Greater Son will make a New Covenant of peace with Israel and gather them out of the nations (by the ministry of the two witnesses of Zechariah 4 and Revelation 11) that they may receive "showers of blessing" in the Messianic Kingdom.
Ezekiel 35 – 36:8 expands upon the coming judgment of Edom promised in Ezekiel 25:12-14 "by the hand of My people Israel." This treacherous brood had assisted Nebuchadnezzar in the capture of Jerusalem (Obadiah 1:1-16; 2:11, 16-20) and afterward invaded and held possession of the south of Palestine as far as Hebron until conquered five years later by Nebuchadnezzar. But when the Judeans returned from the Captivity they found Benjamin's allotment occupied by Edom, so Benjamin resettled in Galilee of the Gentiles. Esau married a Hittite and a Canaanite who along with their Edomite offspring were Serpent's seed whom God set "at enmity" with Adam's race (Genesis 3:15). Subsequently he married an Ishmaelite and although their children were of Adam's race they possibly bore some resentment because their forefather did not share with Isaac in the blessing and inheritance of Abraham.
Esau swore that on the death of his father Isaac he would kill Jacob, recover his birthright and steal his blessing (Genesis 27:39-41). He is working toward Jacob's extermination to this day, which is one explanation for the genocide determined on the Palestinians and Muslim lands of the ancient Assyrian empire where the descendants of Israel and Judah abide (Ezekiel 35:10-15). Edom is the type of Israel's last foe (Isaiah 63:1-4). In 130BC, John Hyrcanus, Judah's high priest executed the divine vengeance when he defeated and forcibly assimilated the Edomites who "were hereafter no other than Jews" (Josephus, Antiquities of the Jews, XIII, 9:1. An editor's footnote on this page quotes the ancient historian, Ammonius, "The Idumeans were. . . subdued by the Jews [i.e. Judahites] and compelled to be circumcised, and to unite into one nation, and be subject to the same laws, they were called Jews"). Despite the subterfuge of names like "Jew" and "Israeli," these impostors are Serpent's seed as are Khazars, and 'cherem' or dedicated to destruction for the glory of the Lord. Ezekiel 36:8-38 speaks of the glorification of the Lord God in the eyes of the heathen when He gathers Israel into the land of the Covenant and into the New Covenant by sanctification and new birth in Daniel's Seventieth Week.
Ezekiel 37 foretells the gathering of the whole house of Israel "cut off from our parts" (7-14) during Daniel's Seventieth Week under the manifestation of the Sixth Seal and Seventh Trumpet as prophesied by our Lord Jesus in Matthew 24:31 and Revelation 7:1-8 and Paul in Romans 11:15 (Psalm 17:7; Isaiah 6:10-13; 11:11-16; 27:13; Jeremiah 3:12, 18; 16:15; 23:8; 31:8; Ezekiel 37:14; 39:27; Micah 5:3; Zechariah 10:9-12; Matthew 24:29-31; Revelation 12:14, etc.), and concludes with the restoration of the Kingdom to Israel under the millennial reign of Jesus Christ. The separation of Israel from the land of the Covenant is the most serious punishment that could be inflicted, for an Israelite outside the land is outside the Covenant and is as one dead. Thus the return of "the whole house of Israel" to the land will constitute the resurrection of the nation. This 'resurrection' and return of the twelve tribes or people of Israel, not the modern non-Semitic Jewish state, will follow an earthquake as the resurrection of our Lord Jesus and the Old Testament saints was called by an earthquake (Matthew 27:50-53; Ezekiel 37:7; 38:19-23). It will call the resurrection of the sleeping Church Age saints (Revelation 6:12; 11:14-19; 16:18-19; Zechariah 14:4-5).
After the siege of Jerusalem, this earthquake by which the Lord slays Israel's foes, and specifically the enemies of the Israelites, will bring glory to the Lord and instill hope in the hearts of the twelve tribes living in exile ("for fear of the Jews") encouraging them to return for their redemption in the land of the Covenant. nl626.htm
